An early online publishing pioneer, Eric has an extensive background in publishing, content management, mobile product development, performance optimization, and end-user usability. He holds a patent for dynamic mobile content experiences. Much of his early work with some of the pioneers of RSS revolved around the creation, processing, and distribution of various real-time content feeds for large-scale publishing. As a innovator in mobile, Eric created numerous applications for delivering applications using feed and editorial content, games and entertainment, combined with targeted mobile advertising.
In his work in engineering management, Eric has always been an advocate for the consumer experience, balancing the needs of the business, with the capabilities of the latest technologies, and the needs of consumers in their daily lives. Recent research efforts include optimizing application performance, based on device usage behaviors, content consumption, and engagement habits.
In addition to his role at Mobile Posse, Eric teaches industry-related courses at Georgetown University, and is currently teaching a program on Mobile Application Usability.
