1MM Mobile Consumers…and Counting
This morning we issued a press release announcing results from a recent mobile advertising campaign run by Ford on the Mobile Posse active idle screen network. Conceived by Ford Agency Team Detroit, the campaign promoted Ford’s brand-new Taurus sedan and generated some pretty impressive results: the campaign boasted an average CTR of 20% and nearly half of our unique users engaged with at least one Taurus ad during the campaign. But, stellar results aside, we also reached over 1MM unique consumers with Ford’s campaign. In fact, Mobile Posse now reaches more than 1MM unique users each day. Our carrier partners understand the value that idle screen CRM brings to their business, and consumers are increasingly receptive to information and offers delivered via the idle screen. As a result, we’re growing – by leaps and bounds. For our advertisers, the 1MM mark is especially significant. At 1MM, consumer reach becomes very attractive to major brands. For regional brands, 1MM guarantees significant reach in local markets. How many mobile websites can claim that they engage 1MM unique users each day? A few. But how many can offer advertisers full-screen, full-color inventory with a sustained average CTR of 15-20%? Absolutely none. Our take on mobile advertising has always been a bit different, and clearly, that’s a really good thing. Here’s to an off-the-charts 2010!
