The Lush Nature-Focused Home in Singapore

The Botanica house in Singapore is a nature-centric home that has the Singapore Botanic Gardens in its backyard. This floating house seems to blend into the landscape, incorporating nature into a design that blurs the lines between the indoors and the outdoors.

Continue on for photos of this nature-focused home with modern accents.

Designed by Guz Architects, the two-story home features five bedrooms with en suite bathrooms.

The moat-like pool starts inside the house and extends outdoors, continuing to blur the lines between natural elements and chic interior design.

A killer spiral staircase in the center of the home connects the basement to the main floor and the top floor.

Vegetation is strategically placed around the house that seamlessly blends into the gardens below.

The first floor doesn’t just contain an epic pool, but also a small waterfall to influence relaxation and bring in some of the tranquility from outdoors.

The architects of this modern, edgy home took design risks meant to ensure the home didn't encroach on its surroundings – those decisions definitely paid off.
